Everything you need to know about the Focus Board.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Focus Board?
The Focus Board is your single screen for managing all tasks. It uses three columns — Backlog, This Week, and Today — to help you move from a big list of tasks down to what matters right now.
How do I add tasks, areas, or projects?
Click the + button to add a new task, area, or project. It's always visible at the bottom of each section.
How do I move tasks between columns?
Select a task, then press W to toggle it into This Week, T to toggle it into Today, or F to toggle Focus on the task. Press the same key again to untoggle. You can also drag and drop.
How do I mark a task as done?
Click the check circle next to the task name to mark it as done — you'll see a satisfying animation. Done tasks appear in your Done History.
What keyboard shortcuts are available?
W — Toggle This Week
T — Toggle Today
F — Toggle Focus
D — Delete task
A / Z — Move task up / down
How does Done History work?
Every task you complete is logged by date. Open the Done History panel to see what you finished each day — great for reviews, standups, or just feeling good about your progress.
How do areas and projects work?
Areas are top-level categories (e.g. Work, Personal). Each area contains Projects, and each project holds your tasks. This gives you a clean hierarchy without overcomplicating things.
